I Am...
My name is Tara Britni.
I am an artist and a student living here in Portland, studying Graphic Design and Art History at Portland State.
I have two pets: a grey cat named Asher and a 9" long black eel named Captain Jack Sparrow, both of whom I rescued.
I love tattoos. On me. On you. There's just nothing bad about them.
My favorite numbers are 7, 14, and 1234; my favorite color is red; and my favorite word is "crack."
I love art. I love making art. I love destroying things to make into art later.
OTHER THINGS I LOVE:
movies, knives, charcoal drawing, naps, haircuts, surprises, storytelling, playing pool, drinking milk from the carton, pop-culture trivia, the color red, typography, collages, penguins, hawks, owls, birds in general, serial killers, grunge, psychology, pepperoncinis, surrealism, zombies, inventing new words, the satisfying sound that comes with smashing glass.
AND THINGS I HATE:
screaming children, crying children, most other children, dirt under my nails, the word "moist," beets and onions, people who don't apologize, bacon, watercolors, when the sun starts to rise around 5 am, passive aggression, voicemail messages (hate hate), FWDs, rosemary, hiking, revolving doors, umbrellas, anyone who thinks emotions are signs of weakness.
